Till We Turn Grey

May 27, 2005

Walking in the valley

Of time-cut stone

And never-ceasing winds

A great, misty valley

Without a lord

Forever with no sin.

Waking to find your eyes

And love’s warm light

And endless tenderness

Your radiant, pure eyes

Without hatred

And with him so fearless.

How he longs for that place

And your fair face.

Meet us there one day

And we shall warm that place

With our perfect, pure love

We’ll love ‘till we turn grey.
