The Kiss

February 16, 2005

And the long duel was ended,

One melted, the other mended,

When two swords touched.

No question of who was faster,

Both had been wrought by the master

And two swords touched.

They were flown from minds of passion.

By hearts of need they’d been fashioned,

When two swords touched.

Mute words were spoken in truth

By the swords wielded by youth

As the two at last touched.
