The White Gown

January 2, 2005

With your eyes gazing
Into my soul
And the stars upon your brow

What do you ask of me
In the white gown long
And the flowers

You cannot hide your dark fear
What do you want to know
I can see your eyes closing
With a last, terrified emptiness

Let me take away
Your fear of death, of loneliness
Let me take away

The lost look in your soul
And end your dreaming
With a wish come true.
